By now, I’m hoping that you’ve already RSVP-ed for tomorrow’s Lunch 2.0 at CubeSpace at noon, where you can meet and mingle with 133 other PDX-ers involved in some way, shape or form with technology. (Reading this blog? That’s probably close enough…!)
What’s Lunch 2.0? It started out as a Valley phenomenon that you can read about at lunch20.com – but Portland’s picked it up, put a PDX twist to it, and it’s turned into a nice monthly event that forces me to actually leave my office and go talk to people – in the middle of the workday, no less! (I just finished coordinating the office carpool so we can Go Green while we’re at it…)
This month’s event promises to be memorable – Rick Turoczy, proprietor of the Silicon Florist, is celebrating his site’s first birthday by buying lunch for all of us. Thanks, Rick! And he also promises some surprises tomorrow – see this photo for some possible clues.
If you want in, but haven’t signed up yet? Hurry on over RIGHT NOW and RSVP, please.
