Yep, Labor day is here, so that means the traditional end of summer fashion. Time to put away the white pants and white pumps until May 26, 2009. I think you can still wear linen or seersucker, but do so amongst the frat boys at your own risk. I don’t own white pants, but I do have some really light khakis. Luckily, they got stained pretty bad during a cooking incident, so they have been officially retired and will only be used for gardening.

If you think there aren’t repercussions for wearing white after Labor Day, rent ‘Serial Mom’ and see what happens to Patty Hearst when she commits this fashion faux-pas!
