WordCamp Portland: We’re Going to Rock the House!

I’m getting incredibly pumped up about WordCamp Portland this weekend.

Sure, I may be speaking. Yes, I’m a sponsor (and am helping to facilitate the beer acquisition and delivery, woo-hoo!) But I have to shamelessly say that WordCamp Portland will absolutely, positively rock it.

And not just because we’ll be tapping the kegs just before dinner, either!

See, I was lucky enough to have dinner last night with Lorelle VanFossen after our planning session last night, and I know her presentation will leave my own humble offering in the dust. I know Justin Kisner is helping to kick off the pre-conference festivities by turning Beer & Blog over to all things WP. I’m hearing nothing but good buzz about the event.

Plus? There’ll be beer there!

If you’re going? Do check out these last minute tips, or follow @wordcampdx on Twitter. Don’t forget to tag everything wordcampdx if you’re liveblogging, Twittering, Flickr-ing, or what have you. And do say hello to me, will you —I’ll be manning the registration table.

And if you didn’t register? Sadly enough, you are out of luck – the wait list is loooong and we’ve had close to zero cancellations.

Oh No! The CubeSpace website is down! I will be leaving sometime after midnight and I am not really sure where I am going :-(
I guess I will cross my fingers and hope mapquest isn’t too far off.

Bean – I got your message while at dinner with the Cubespace people; they left right away to get the site back up and it should be there now for you. I’ll also send you email with directions/links shortly…
