I hit up Oregonlive for lunch today and saw the headline to the right and was so surprised that they are making light of a horrific situation. News broke yesterday of an incident on a TriMet bus on Sunday where a 50lb Rottweiler lunged and killed an 7-pound Pomeranian service dog.
I see big dogs on MAX every day these days. The owner always say they are the best behaved dogs, but in the end, they are dogs and dogs can be unpredictable as was seen on Sunday. Such a horrible tragedy and yet the Oregonian chooses to make light of the situation with the following assy headline:
“It’s a dog eat dog world”
Who wrote that? What a jackass!

How very uncool, although not at all surprising. I’m betting whoever wrote the original article for The Oregonian isn’t happy about it either…
I noticed they changed the headline shortly after you posted this blog. What a sad story. Poor little dog.
