Today is Buck-a-Hit Day over at Jack Bog’s blog. This is his sixth year of coordinating a charity drive based around traffic on his blog. The basic concept is that he (and some other donors) will donate a dollar to charity for each visitor to his blog today.
The charities which will benefit are the Sisters of the Road Cafe, Children’s Heart Foundation, Human Solutions, Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center, and the Oregon Food Bank.
This year he’s had some especially generous folks step up to the plate and the donation amount could reach up to $9,450, but that depends on the amount of traffic to his site. As a fun bonus, Jack is going to select someone who leaves a good comment today and that person will get to designate $250 of the money to go to the charity of the commenter’s choice.
