I think the car looks sweeeet! People that enjoy, and can afford high performance vehicles can now have one that is a hybrid. The Prius was designed as such because greenies wanted to make a "hey look at me" statement, and it worked because it's an ugly car (sorry, but it is). This is just the next step to hey look at me, my carbon footprint is less than yours, looks cooler, and way faster. For those that mock the EcoChic, isn't the common goal to make conscientious decisions for the greater good?

The author of 2 Billion Cars was, which is about the infrastructure of alternative fuel cars was on The Daily Show and can be seen here: 2 Billion Cars interview

Honestly, I'd be more likely to love it if it weren't for the fact that it looks like some extra-chromosomal version of an Aston Martin that just so happened to have had drunken sex with an RX-8.

And 50 miles for 80 grand? Granted, not every car can be the Volt, but still. And Ron Tonkin carrying it doesn't surprise me. After the fiance and I picked up a car from there, we tiptoed over to Grand Tourismo so I could drool on the Ferarris.

Either way, this car will die in comparisons to the Tesla.
