Hey Portland!!! I’m home and pleased to announce that the first major cross country Wizard Boots tour was a success. The band was great, we had more fun than humans should be allowed and made a bunch of new friends everywhere we went. The further we travelled, the more people were curious about the mystique of our little Northwestern jewel of a city….and we did you proud PDX…..kept it weird AND beered! Some interesting photos here….the Oregon Ducks flag is in a bar way down in West Texas (Van Horn to be exact) where we had a wonderful breakfast one morning…..and those bike handlebars underneath that bar are from The Soundpony in Tulsa Oklahoma….seems the manager is friends with a bike shop owner here in Portland who donated them to use as a really cool railing to rest your tired old drinking feet. He’s coming up this summer to get married out on the Oregon coast, so we’ve made plans to meet up for a possible pub crawl. Met so many people that had either lived up here already or had a burning to desire to come up and check it out…..kinda makes you feel special huh?
I promise to get back to the porn store diaries soon…..gone just a few weeks and the place has gotten a massive makeover…..what the hell? All my little pervs and freaks were glad that I hadn’t hit the big time just yet and was able to come back to the gutter…..I wouldn’t feel at home anywhere else.
