My buddy Geno works at Peterson’s, and caught this deer-in-the-headlights photo of the Google Street View car.
So, have you Google-Viewed your house yet? Ours was snapped on a day when we were legally parked, the sun was shining, NO sightings of Brother-in-law with a wife beater and beer in the front yard. (Not his style anyway.)
Another OurPDX author (who shall remain nameless for now) was not so lucky. She (or he, but just so I can keep my story straight we’ll call her a she) is typically a precision parallel parker; the Googlemobile caught her parked cattywampus and backward. Whenever she gets high and mighty about her parking skills, I just mutter “Google View.” HAW ha!

Yes, well, my house was taken in the middle of summer, when the lawn was brown and landscaping dead. Sometimes, I want to ask google if I can have a retake. I’m guessing they will be as amenable as when I asked the lady at DMV to retake my photo.
