This probably isn’t a good time for me to be writing this post because it’s going to be all about food. And as I type? Well I can smell the yummy salmon I’m cooking up for lunch. If I had worse posture I might be drooling on my keyboard right now…
On Saturday from 5:30 – 9:30 PM there’s an all ages Food Cart Festival called Eat Mobile!!! I’m always behind the times on things and I never would have known about this except that when I went to get lunch yesterday from one of my very favorite food carts, (Garden State in the lot at SE 13th & Lexington) I picked up a flier.
The event will be at Disjecta (8371 N Interstate Ave). It’s only $5 to get in and proceeds benefit Mercy Corps NW. There’ll be music, beer and more food than you can shake a stick at, so if you have a chance I suggest you run down there and try some amazing grub.
Sadly I won’t be able to make it (I think I accidently double booked myself that night) so be sure to have a bite for me too?

great lineup! too bad there isn’t anyone representin’ the indian/nepalese crowd. just enjoyed some delicious vittles from india chaat house last night (crazy orange panel van @ s.w. 12th and yamhill).
