Wizardboots tour

Originally uploaded by dieselboi

As you know, our favorite Porn Shop Diaries author Wizardboots has been on a national tour the past two weeks. Motor did a wonderful interview with Mr. Boots last week and I have been following his adventures via his blog. Well, the 13 state tour with stops in Salt Lake City, Tulsa, Fort Smith AR, Dallas, Austin, Tuscon and other great cities is coming to an end tonight in Pacifica, CA San Francisco. And Wizardboots and his band are coming home.

BUT it isn’t truly the end of the tour. Wizardboots will be playing his final show of the “Boots up your America” tour at Kelly’s Olympian on Friday night. What a great way to wrap up a tour – in your home town.

So, put on your dancin’ boots and get ready for some great “freakpop,” as Mr. Boots puts it, and come on out to Kelly’s Olympian Friday night to welcome Wizardboots back to Portland.

Actually last night in Pacifica got cancelled, BUT tonight we will be at Kimo’s on Polk Street right in middle of downtown San Francisco with our new friends THE CRAZIES WILL DESTROY YOU…..can’t wait to get back home….got some amazing stories from the road….AND pics of things like an Oregon Ducks flag flying proudly in a bar way out in West Texas! It seems Portland and Oregon have a mystique and reputation that travels way out to faraway places unknown….that’s because WE RULE!!! See you Friday night Portland….I’m going to grab your ass….

*covers ass*

Have a great show in SF!

I can attest to the aura of Portland and Oregon outside the state. Last year, I had to travel to Tulsa for work. At the airport, when the TSA guy was checking my ID, he goes, “Oregon…You guys have good beer.” :)
