Here’s what we’ve found as we’ve traveled the local PDX web (complete with our comments) for May 18th:

  • City of angels | Jack Bog’s Blog

Jack asked, a reader delivered: "Here's that list we asked about this morning — those civic-minded business people who gave the money at the last minute to save the Washington Park free summer concerts this year."

Read his post & support those businesses, please…!

  • Tell the Software Association of Oregon (SAO) where to go. Please. | Silicon Florist

Rick writes "Usually when you get the infamous “customer satisfaction” survey asking for your input, it’s abundantly clear that what the survey is really designed to do is cover someone’s ass. They don’t want your feedback. They want you to give them five stars across the board and tell them you wouldn’t change a thing.

But this latest survey from the Software Association of Oregon is different. I think—nay I believe—they truly want to hear your feedback. Not just the feedback of existing members. They want feedback from everyone in the Silicon Forest tech scene. Long story short, they want your feedback."

I've already taken the survey – now it's on you, please!

  • Restaurants and bars with patios or outdoor seating in Portland Oregon | An Exploration of Portland Food and Drink

Hooray! Food Dude updates his listing of Portland area patio dining, with this promise "As we go through the year, I’ll continue adding to this list of restaurants and bars with outdoor dining. Feel free to add a comment if you know of anything I’ve missed!"
