Is this the future of filling stations in Oregon?

Check out the massive plug-in located at SW 1st and Salmon, under the World Trade Center Complex.

Next time I pass by, I will look to see if there are plug-ins for wheelchairs and cell phones…

Charging stations have been here for over 10 years.

Indeed, that charging station has been there forever. I use it for my bike; the best part is that the parking spot is free too.

This was the first time I’d seen them in use. One of those things I’ve walked by a thousand times before noticing. There’s another one by the courthouse on 4th.

That’s actually kinda cool. I like how Portland is always trying to be at the forefront of these initiatives.
