We’re heading back to The Agency for our monthly OurPDX meetup next Tuesday, and we’d love to have you join us. (RSVP on Upcoming)

This time, I have definite, positive confirmation that we’ll be in the Owner’s Lounge starting at 5 pm that evening. We also know that there will be NO Blazer game this evening. Or major college football bowl games, either.

Why are we making these points? Weeeeellll…we managed to show up last time to a jam-packed full place (Blazers vs. Celtics! Duck bowl game! Woo-hoo!), and didn’t get our Owner’s Lounge room after all. The people at The Agency bent over backwards to squeeze us in anyway (we got to sit at the Talkin’ Ball table), and promised to do right by us if we gave them another chance.

So we compared our calendars, checked sports schedules, ruled out the Obama inauguration day, steered clear of all of those Wednesday events, and finally settled on Tuesday, January 13th.

Join us in the Owner’s Lounge starting at 5 pm for sliders, XBox, Wii, and beer, won’t you?

What happens when you have an instigator with cabin fever also taking time off between Christmas and New Year? Weeelll…it’s likely that a meetup or two will coalesce into being, usually without much notice…

In fact, I threw out the first pitch to the author mailing list a few hours ago, and we already have a plan!

Join us starting at 5 pm at The Agency Ultra Sport Lounge. We have the Owner’s Lounge private room already reserved; some of us will be staying to watch the Blazer/Celtics game here as well. They’ve got Wiis. XBox 360’s. Big screen high definition televisions. Food. Beverages. And more…

Add in our sparkling company, and what else do you need on a Tuesday night, really? (Did I forget to mention that the Blazers are playing the *Celtics*…?)
